Description (Service) Volunteers support individuals facing a life threatening illness and those who are bereaved * in home, hospital, retirement home or long term care facility  
 
Screened and trained volunteers are matched with clients on a one-to-one basis * offer companionship, encourage client interests/activities * planned outings and relief for caregivers  
 
Bereavement Consultant offers bereavement follow-up visits * support groups, resources

Hours Program Coordinator available Mon-Thu 8:30 am-4:30 pm * Answering machine available during off hours * Messages checked daily
