Description
Description (Service) Environmental Farm Plans (EFP) are documents voluntarily prepared by farm families to increase their awareness of the environment on their farm.  
 
Farmers self assess their own farms and set realistic goals and time tables to improve environmental conditions, lead workshops and represent other farmers - Similar to the Growing Your Farm Profits workshops that look at the business side of a farm * Self assessments and action plans are completed in each workshop  
 
In Ontario, farm, food and other agri-businesses can access programming to help grow their profits, expand their markets and manage shared risk * this is a 5 year program from 2013-2018  
 
Growing Forward 2 Program - An initiative aimed to encourage innovation, competitiveness, market development, adaptability and industry capacity in Canada's agri-food and agri-products sector. Whether you are just starting out, or have been in business a long time, GF2 offers practical and flexible programming.
