Description (Service) Services and supports for children and youth with ASD, and their families

ABA-based services and supports - Children and youth with autism can attend Treatment Groups which focus on developing skills in one of the following areas: daily living, communication, social/interpersonal or behaviour management * qualified behavioural therapists provide direct Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)-based services to clients as well as consultation to their parents/caregivers

Intensive Behaviour Intervention (IBI) -
Full-time (24 hours per week) treatment in classroom or community settings for children who have been diagnosed with autism toward the severe end of the autism spectrum * children must be deemed clinically eligible to receive this service

Connections for Students (CFS) -
Joint school and TVCC services provided to children and youth who are finishing full-time IBI and are transitioning into school
