Service: Substance Abuse Day Treatment Program

Description
Description (Service) This program provides intensive day treatment which works towards the goal of eliminating and/or reducing substance use for a maximum 8-10 adolescent clients. 
 
Programming promotes involvement with healthy non-substance related activities and includes: Daily treatment groups * life skills instruction * ongoing individual counselling and support * Health assessment and education, with ongoing follow-up available from a Pediatrician and a Nurse Practitioner

Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-3 pm
Areas Served Ontario
Eligibility Youth; 13-18yrs; (Grade 9-12) with suspected or diagnosed substance abuse problem or with family substance abuse issues that are having an impact on the teen; must want help, cannot be forced.
